First: Sea urchin slathered on bread and oil.
Second: Grilled octopus, fried cuttlefish, sheep’s milk cheese on tomato puree and barley rusk.
Third: Shrimp stew with feta cheese, grilled fish, fresh squid with lemon, grape leaves stuffed with rice, dill and onion.
Fourth: Edible greens and Raki.

DISH – Bougatsa – Anthony Bourdain Crete Zakynthos
WHAT IS IT?
Anthony Bourdain had a bougatsa. It is made with handmade fresh phyllo dough, flour, water and oil and rolled as thinly as possible then stuffed with cheese and folded.

DISH – “Local Greek Dishes” – No Reservations Crete Zakynthos
WHAT IS IT?
After visiting Crete, Anthony Bourdain visited Alitzarini restaurant located at Zakynthos, Greece.
First: Lamb spleen stuffed with local cheese, flavored with cinnamon and clove.
Second: Lamb guts in tomato sauce.
Third: Rabbit braised in onions, spices and wine
Fourth: Grilled and roasted then basted in lemon quail.
